Hi, I'm Nico. German-born, now living in Brisbane with my Aussie wife and daughter, creating wedding films for couples who don't want a copy-paste version of their day.
I wish someone had told me about storytelling and love story sessions when I started filming weddings five years ago. But it took me nearly a year of unintentional slow motion and linear clips that all looked nice but lacked heart and soul. Until I saw the first wedding film that blew my mind.
Ever since, I’ve been creating with intention. I did that back in Germany, and since 2025 here in Australia after moving countries with my little family (and becoming a bit more laid-back every day, though I'm still very German about planning and timelines).
I mix modern storytelling inspired by documentaries, music videos and cinema with touches of Super 8 or VHS, with one goal in mind: to craft a film that reflects your story. To give you something you'll actually rewatch years later.

Story-led films that don’t follow a template take time to craft with care. Wedding films are usually delivered within 150 days. Very occasionally it might take a little longer (days, not months). If there are any delays, I’ll keep you updated along the way, because no one likes waiting in silence.

To keep things simple and beautiful, I don’t share raw footage. It’s unfinished and huge to store. If you want everything from the ceremony or speeches, I’m happy to edit and deliver those as add-ons.

Yes, I require a non-refundable booking fee of 35% of your package price to secure your date.

If you care most about natural, film-inspired photos but still want a short wedding film to complete the story, this is it. You get a full day of photography and a shorter story-led film with real Super 8 footage, and coverage that focuses on real moments over posing.
If you want a photo-first approach but don't want to miss hearing your vows again or seeing your mums happy tears during her speech one more time. The film isn’t trying to be everything. It brings your gallery to life.
