My main goal is to deliver a wedding film — with some photos on the side — that feels effortless and authentic, perfectly reflecting the spirit of your day. I’ll also capture the speeches and the moments from your ceremony that matter most — and weave them into a film that brings you right back to the feels of the day. While your wedding film will be at the heart of what I create for you, I’ll also capture a small collection of photographs in a way that feels easy and natural — a thoughtful addition to remember moments with your partner and the people closest to you.
- Professional audio and lighting equipment: I provide different microphones and lighting gear to ensure every speech, toast, and emotional moment shared by your loved ones is captured clearly and beautifully.
- A personalized timeline that creates space to be present: I’ll help you build a flexible timeline that fits your vision, so you can relax, enjoy the celebration, and know the important moments are covered – and hopefully ease some of that pre-planning stress, Jess.

Alongside the film, I slip in candid photos and a brief, relaxed couple and family photo session so you finally have portraits you’ve never managed to get.

After the day, I sift through the footage, pull out the best bits, tidy the audio, and colour everything so it stays warm and true to life. Vows, speeches and background sounds are woven together so pressing play feels like stepping straight back into your wedding.

No awkward posing or constant direction. I’ll help you create a timeline with room to be present, give gentle prompts only when needed, then fade into the background like a guest with cameras while you enjoy the party.

Jess & Hayden, the packages ahead are shaped for the joyful, laughter-filled day you have in mind. Prices start with a base and adjust for five practical things – any add-ons, peak or off-season timing, weekday or weekend, guest count, and the editing hours your film + photos will need.
Video is the focus – with a light layer of candid photos and a few couple portraits – so every element can flex. If a length or add-on pushes the budget, we can trim the highlight or pare back stills without losing the story.
I’ve skipped the stripped-down Wedding Day Film; it felt too thin for a party this free-flowing. Instead, you’ll see three video-led tiers, each with photo-light coverage during prep and the ceremony. I’ll step away from stills during cocktail hour, speeches and the first dance, but a second photographer can be added if you’d like extra candids.

Having the speeches assembled in their own film, along with your reactions, gives this package a special focus on preserving those memories to the fullest extent.

A quiet presence, with a watchful eye
I do my best to interfere as little as possible—especially when meaningful moments are happening. My approach is grounded in observation: staying close enough to capture what matters, but never so close that it pulls anyone out of the experience.
But I don't leave you alone: I'll give you guidance during the couple&family shooting offside to maximise time and keep familiy phots natural and playfull.

I prepare with intention—never to stage your day, but to give it room to breathe. Whether it’s shaping a timeline that allows for all the fun moments or offering input when you're unsure, I’m here to support without overstepping.

My films are handcrafted, blending documentary-style audio with carefully chosen music and immersive sound design. I record throughout the day to also pick up the real, unscripted sounds where possible—your voices, laughter, quiet exchanges—and build the film’s rhythm also around those moments. Every detail is selected to make the final piece feel true and transportive.
Planning between intention and intuition
I’m not the kind of filmmaker & photographer who just shows up and hopes for the best—but I’m also not here to script your day. I come prepared, knowing what matters to you and how to shape the timeline to give those moments room. I think ahead about light, pacing, and story—but when the day arrives, I stay responsive. That balance—between intention and intuition—is what helps couples relax. You can let go, knowing the details are being held with care.
From morning nerves to the final dance
I’m with you nearly the whole day — not just for the ceremony or the pretty light. I arrive in the morning when the nerves and excitement are real, and I stay until the dancefloor is packed and Eagle Rock makes some pants drop. That full presence lets me capture the honest flow of your day — its quiet beginnings, emotional highs, and everything in between. I’m not in a rush to leave after the first dance, because I know some of the best moments unfold when everyone is dancing.
You don’t have to worry about the technical side…
…I've got it covered. I come fully prepared with everything needed to make sure your film looks and sounds its best. For the ceremony, I use 3–4 cameras to capture every angle without being in the way. You’ll be fitted with discreet lavalier microphones, and I use professional audio recorders to ensure every word is crisp and clear. I also bring lighting gear for key moments like speeches or your first dance, so even the dimly lit spaces feel warm and cinematic on screen.
