Chantelle and Josh wanted something quirky and whimsical, a film that leans into the playful side of their relationship instead of taking itself too seriously the way a lot of wedding films do.

So together with Iris Faith Photography, we built something heavily inspired by Wes Anderson, in the camera movement, the framing, the compositions, but shaped around Chantelle and Josh's actual personalities and story, not just borrowed style for its own sake.

The quirky moments are there, but so are the slower, real ones, the bits that breathe and hold everything else together. What we ended up with is a film that shows a couple who are deeply loved by the people around them, who don't take themselves too seriously, and who were clearly best friends long before anything else.
