Photos that feel alive

Your photos will feel close to film photography, they document moment as they happen in their beautiful imperfection:

The the ugly cry at the ceremony, the loud laughter afterwards, the smeared makeup on the bridesmaids face.

At the end you’ll get photos that are true to you.

We plan for the authentic

On your wedding I’ll be doing the behind-the-scenes work, so you can be there and enjoy the moment.

It starts with planning: first, I listen and help you build breathing space and room for things to unfold naturally and authentically. On the day, I'll be there to guide you with some gentle prompts, but I'll also be in the background so you can just focus on enjoying yourself.

A film as the cherry on your wedding cake

On top of that comes a small, vintage inspired mini film (with real Super 8 footage, lovers!) that moves and sounds like your day did. A mix of music and your own words, shaped around your day, for those who do not need a full film but want something alive to remember it by.

The Process

01 We talk

A relaxed 30-minute chat (or a bit longer email conversation) about your day and ideas. We see if it’s a fit. If yes, I put together a custom proposal and we walk through it together on a second date. If it’s a yes, I’ll send a simple contract and a retainer invoice to secure your date.

02 Planning for you

Your comfort and trust come first. You won’t be left guessing. A simple, personal questionnaire helps me learn your story and preferences so I can suggest locations and shape a timeline that feels like you. You’ll also get clear, easy guides to keep planning stress free. About 1 to 2 months out we meet to fine-tune the plan, and check in again if needed

03 You live it. I capture it

You stay present. I capture your authentic self, guide with gentle prompts, and record all of it. You don’t need to pose. Just be yourselves. Bring an open heart and love on your partner. I’ll take care of the rest.

04 Crafting your photos and film

After the wedding I weave your vows, speeches, and some honest in betweens into a film that reflects you and your story. Films are usually delivered within 150 days. Your photos you’ll usually get after 5-12 weeks. You get a little set of photo highlights within about 48 hours, so you can relive the magic ASAP.

05 Reliving the magic

Press play on your time machine, open up that photo gallery and step back into the day. Cry. Laugh. Feel the whole thing

FAQ Videography & Photography

  • I service Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Byron Bay. Travel for wider Queensland and Northern NSW is available. Enquire if you want me to go any further – I love traveling! Travel within 1.5hours of Brisbane CBD is included at no extra cost.

  • Every booking is tailored. I start with simple base packages, then shape them to fit your day and story.

    Why I tailor it:

    • To keep your timeline calm and unhurried

    • To focus coverage where it matters to you.

    • To add extras only when they add value for you.

Tell me what matters most and I will suggest a clear plan and price that fits you. If one package is your perfect fit? Let's talk about it.

  • Wedding films are usually delivered within 150 days—sometimes quicker, sometimes it might take a tiny bit (days, not months) longer. If there are any delays, I’ll keep you updated along the way (because no one likes those stories about couples waiting in silence).

Photos are quicker: I will deliver them to you usually after 5-12 weeks.

On the bright side, your wedding sneak preview will be usually ready within 2-3 weeks (film) / 24-48h (photos) after your big day, so you’ll have something to enjoy while waiting.

  • The wedding day itself is actually the fun part — it’s where all the magic happens, and honestly, whether I’m there for 5 or 10 hours, it doesn’t change much for me (besides maybe sore feet afterwards). Either way, I won’t book another wedding that day, so the time is fully dedicated to you.

The real work (and magic) happens in the editing room. Surprisingly, shorter weddings often take just as much editing time as longer ones. A 5-hour wedding can pack in just as many important moments — sometimes even more condensed action - which means the same amount of effort goes into sorting, crafting, editing and perfecting your film or photos.

So while the hours on the day might vary, the care, attention, and artistry I put into your film and photos remain the same (depending on the package).

Also, I don’t want you stressing about how many hours to book or worrying you might regret not having me stay longer. The last thing I’d want is to miss crucial moments because of a time limit. This way, you can enjoy your day without watching the clock!

  • I’ve learned that a lot of Australians love Taylor Swift (my wife is a Swiftie too, so I get it!). However, I license music through special platforms that ensure everything is legal and above board.

If you’re set on using a song from a big artist like Taylor, it’s definitely possible—but purchasing the proper license can be very, very pricey. Let’s chat about your vision for the video, and I can help find music that fits perfectly.

  • I usually don’t sell the raw files, and here’s why: they’re unpolished, flat-looking, and often not what you’d expect when you think of your wedding memories. On top of that, raw files (especially video footage) can easily take up to 1TB of storage—and without editing knowledge, they’re not very useful. I’ve seen a bit of a trend where couples are offered raw footage, and left feeling overwhelmed or disappointed when they realise it’s not what they imagined. If you just want to get the whole ceremony or all your speeches on film book it as an extra and I will colour grade, cut and edit the footage for you.

  • Yes, I require a non-refundable booking fee of 35% of your package price to secure your date.

  • Life happens. Just email me to cancel. Your 35% retainer holds the date and isn’t refundable. If you cancel 8–2 weeks out, up to 75% of the total may be owed. I’ll do my best to rebook the date. If I can, I’ll lower or refund the fee. If a major event outside anyone’s control forces a cancellation (like a cyclone or flooding), neither of us is at fault. I will try to reschedule first. If we cannot find a new date, I may waive or reduce the cancellation fee based on any costs already spent.
