Sophia and Jayden

The Warehouse, Brisbane

Sophia and Jayden wanted a film that reflected their vibe, upbeat, full of celebration, but grounded in tradition, from the tea ceremony that brought both families together to the community and culture woven through the whole day.

They knew early on they didn't want long speeches to build the film around, besides one heartfelt thank you, and no personal vows either. When we talked it through, it became clear that wasn't about leaving people out, they still wanted to hear from friends and family, just not by putting anyone on the spot in front of a crowd. So together we found another way in: little guest interviews and blessings, woven through the story instead.

The result is a film that still feels full of the people who love them, warm, personal, and true to how they actually wanted to celebrate. And it came together in under 10 days, ready in time for their engagement party.
